What it is

We believe that fulfilling the Great Commission requires well-equipped and Spirit-filled believers. Through the School of Ministry and Deliverance, OWOM provides training that joins sound biblical teaching to real ministry practice — so that what is learned in class is carried into homes, churches, communities and mission fields.

SOMDEL equips hundreds of believers each year through programmes ranging from Basic and Intermediate to Advanced, Post-Advanced, and Training of Trainers. Whether you are an individual, a church or a ministry, SOMDEL can help prepare you for greater Kingdom impact.

The programme

Five levels of training

  1. 01

    Basic

    Foundations of the faith, the believer's authority, personal deliverance and the biblical basis of missions. Designed for every member of the church, not only full-time workers.

  2. 02

    Intermediate

    Deeper study of Scripture, spiritual warfare, counselling and discipleship, with supervised practical ministry in local outreaches.

  3. 03

    Advanced

    Cross-cultural ministry, church planting principles, leadership and the practical demands of the mission field.

  4. 04

    Post-Advanced

    For those preparing to be sent: field strategy, member care, fundraising, and sustaining ministry over the long term.

  5. 05

    Training of Trainers

    Equips experienced leaders to run SOMDEL in their own country, church or ministry, multiplying the training rather than centralising it.
